2 arrest warrants were pending against the Bulgarian
A 38-year-old from Bulgaria against whom 2 arrest warrants were pending for brokering serial illegal adoptions.
In particular, according to ELAS, the 38-year-old, together with other accomplices, during the years 2015 and 2016, in at least 6 cases in Athens and Katerini, mediated with the intention of profit in the transfer of pregnant women from Bulgaria in order to adopt the newborn children from families for monetary compensation.
According to APE BEE, the arrested person was taken to the competent prosecution authorities.
