A major disturbance was caused at noon on Friday by a fire that broke out in the basement of an apartment building in Mesampelies, Heraklion.
A strong firefighting force rushed to extinguish the fire that occurred at 2:00 in the afternoon. A police force rushed to the scene to assist in the removal of the occupants.
