The app allows users to “try on” tattoos on their bodies in real time
Inkjin, a Greek startup redefining the relationship between art and technology, has announced that it is bringing a groundbreaking experience to the world of tattooing.
In particular, as pointed out in a related announcement, with the use of augmented reality (AR) technology, the Inkjin application is transforming the way people get inspired, design and choose their tattoos. The app, available on the App Store and Google Play, allows users to “try on” tattoos on their bodies in real time, while also offering access to over 1,500 original designs and collaborating with 65 top tattoo artists.
“Inkjin is not just an app, but a new approach that places Greece on the global stage of innovation, at the point where art and technology meet,” said the app’s Founder, Ilias Hatzis. According to him, “tattooing is a deeply personal and creative decision. So we wanted to create an experience that not only simplifies the tattooing process, but makes it exciting and immersive.”
Among other things it implements AR technology (users can “wear” the tattoo before even getting it, eliminating doubts), easy connection (instant access to top tattoo artists based on their location and preferences), reliability and security. By February 2025, Inkjin plans to introduce features for in-app payments and appointment booking. At the same time, the team is developing a special platform for artists, which will allow them to manage their profile, plans and appointments, offering them a complete technological tool for their business development.
Inkjin, which combines technology with creativity, is an innovation, the announcement states, with global momentum, placing Greece at the cutting edge of innovation. For more information, interested parties can visit inkjin.com.
