The island of the Cyclades is among the 10 best places in the world of the Spanish Business Insider
The Daily Telegraph ranks Naxos among the 5 ideal family destinations in Greece.
The international media reports that the largest island of the Cyclades is “a peaceful alternative compared to the hyper-tourist islands that surround it. In the same spirit, the Austrian newspaper Kurier calls Naxos “a treasure that fortunately still seems undiscovered” and invites walkers to discover the paths, enjoy the local cuisine and browse the Cycladic and medieval alleys.
Last summer, a large number of Austrian professionals and journalists visited the island with the support of the EOT Office, the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades and the Springer Reisen organization. Along with the tributes to Austria and England, Naxos is in first place among the Greek islands in a list announced by the Spanish Business Insider of the 10 best places in the world.
“Nature, mythology, gastronomy and activities differentiate Naxos from competing destinations. 2023 “closed” with a positive sign and new attendance records, while the narrative for the new season spreads across a range of markets with “spearhead” authenticity. It is noted that between March 15-17, the municipality organizes three days of original carnival events full of colors, musical traditions and revivals of Dionysian customs, addressing the first call to residents and travelers, in view of the new season.
