As the media reports, “Nestled in the Sporades archipelago, Alonissos is a real paradise for diving lovers. The island is the “heart” of one of the largest natural marine parks in Europe. The underwater landscape of Alonissos is impressive with the mysterious ancient shipwreck of Peristera and the exceptional marine biodiversity. On land, the island maintains its original charm with pine forests, houses with red roofs, picturesque fishing villages, while in its port, Patitiri, time seems to have stopped.
Chora, the historic capital, impresses with its picturesque alleys and breathtaking views. The show is “stolen” by the beautiful beaches and islets of the Park”.
The generationvoyage.fr list is completed with Chios, Kythira, Ithaca, Kea and Patmos. “We are targeting groups with special interests such as scuba divers who return to Alonissos again and again fascinated by both the underwater wealth and the authentic hospitality offered by the destination” says the chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality of Alonissos and tourist agent, Diogenis Theodorou .
It is noted that throughout 2024, the Municipality of Alonissos implements actions to highlight the destination in selected media and travel blogs in markets such as Greece, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Scandinavia, France, the Netherlands and other countries.
