Moved, the presenter of “Radio Arvyla” spoke about the loss of his father
The presenter of “Radio Arvyla”, Antonis Kanakis, appeared on the show “Studio 4” on Friday afternoon and spoke about the establishment of his new children’s radio station Paidaki 97.5 and, among other things, he was asked about the book he had written immediately after his death his father.
“It was the only way I could fight her in those days. I went to the computer every night and wrote down everything I was experiencing, otherwise I wouldn’t fight her. I think you understand me, for too many people writing is a way out, all that I have inside to come out in some way”, Antonis Kanakis initially said. “Everything I wrote was my way to endure all those days. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to stand them”, confesses the presenter.
“I adored my dad, I wish I could be 1/100 of the dad he was and do the best I can. Death and life, the best way to understand them, is to experience them”, argued Antonis Kanakis and admitted that “I find this issue a bit difficult. Until now I was saying: “and what I would give for one day just to see him in front of me and give him a tight hug”. Now I’m not saying that. Now I say: “I would give everything to see my dad hug my children, even if I don’t hug him.”
