“When you do a biography, you have to put the knife to the bone, some things”
Guest on the “Weekenders” show was Antonis Loudaros. The actor also spoke about her film “I exist” with Christos Mastoras.
“I had to celebrate Christmas at home for 32 years, because of work, and I did it then with the coronavirus. This year I’m doing a monologue and it’s one of the most difficult things I’ve done in the theater. Television is about too many people wanting to project their egos. I’m not justifying the bad atmosphere at work, but it depends on what work you’ve done with yourself,” said initially Antonis Loudaros and then added:
“The theater saved me from strange streets with abuses. A review does not necessarily have to be good. Of course, I have also received bad reviews. This is not a bad thing, it also helps me as a tool in my work, to think about what I need to fix. If an actor is inept, it will show in the result. The criticism of Eleni Radou was not kind.”
In closing, Antonis Loudaros said: “I saw the movie “I exist”, but I didn’t see the personality I wanted. Not that I wanted, that didn’t develop anyway! When you do a biography, you have to put the knife to the bone, some things. I liked Christos Masteras, he made an honorable effort.”
