“I had difficulty with the first child, I had fear and guilt”
On “The 2night Show” hosted by Grigoris Arnautoglou Athina Economakou was hosted on Tuesday night (10/10) and spoke, among other things, about her participation in the series, “The First of Us” to ANT1 and how much the script has moved her.
“It’s very beautiful, interesting and deeply dramatic in many moments. You get the juices flowing and there’s no way you won’t bend. Because it’s very modern and fresh – even if you go to a funeral, there’s no way you won’t laugh at least at your need to exorcise it – so it happens in the series. Where it’s an extreme dramatic scene, something happens with these six people and you burst out laughingAthena Economakou said.
“In terms of acting beyond the first years when I have done very strong series with very difficult roles and I was also a child, now more mature and experienced in this work, I want to tell you that I have been very hard. They have been days when I cry ten hours a day and because it works out for you and everything happens organically, the text is so strong and the actors I play are so good, that one takes from the other’s eyes. I’ve never had all six be like that before. We cry with black tears and with our soul for the other actor to play, even if the shot is not ours. We have hurt it too muchadded Athena Economakou.
The actress also talked about her family and how she manages to balance her career.
Talking about what life is like with two children she said:
“Because I struggled at first, I had fear and guilt. In the second it came out more effortlessly, it’s more carefree”.
As a child he confessed that she had “good student syndrome”.
“I was a kid who never caused trouble. I didn’t have an unusual adolescence. I had the syndrome of the good student. I was a kid who worked a lot, with my friends, measured things.”
Although accepted offer to present Shopping Star declined. Why;
“I refused because of the serial. The proposal exploded at the same time. I would go if the TV series didn’t exist, I liked it.”
