Aircraft are grounded
Flight cancellations to and from have taken the form of a “storm”. Tel Aviv which the war brought to Israel. Aircraft are grounded with more and more airlines putting a “block” on routes.
China’s Hainan Airlines announced the cancellation of scheduled flights from Shanghai to Tel Aviv today, the Global Times newspaper reported, citing the carrier.
Hainan Airlines regularly operates three direct flights connecting China and Israel.
At the same time, Cathay Pacific, which had already announced the cancellation of the flight from Hong Kong to Tel Aviv tomorrow Tuesday, announced, as reported by the Athens News Agency, that there will be an update on its next scheduled flight on Thursday.
Korean Air, for its part, canceled a direct flight scheduled for today from Incheon to Tel Aviv and added that it expects the schedule to face problems in the near future.
Other international airlines also announced they were canceling flights after the Hamas attack in Israel on Saturday (7/10) with a death toll of over 700 and the Israeli retaliation, the strikes on the Gaza Strip with over 400 dead. Among them were the US United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines and the French national carrier, Air France.
