The robber had rigged a cash register which he went to fill with ATM notes
Robbery and stabbing occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday in downtown Trikala.
According to his information trikalaopinion.gr an unknown person, wearing dark clothes, set up a cash register on March 25 that he went to fill with banknotes at an ATM located in a cigarette shop on this street.
As soon as one of the two cashiers in the armored vehicle got out, he rushed at him and stabbed him in the thigh, took two cash boxes and fled in an unknown direction.
The injured remittance employee was transported and is being treated at the Trikala Hospital.
