When is the deadline – Who are eligible
Today, December 20, the online platform for Child Benefit was opened and beneficiaries can submit their application.
Beneficiaries of Child Benefit – A21 have the possibility to submit or complete their applications through the special electronic platform. The application is addressed both to those who have not yet submitted an application for the year 2024, and to those who have started the process, but did not proceed with a final submission.
The platform will be accessible to citizens until Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 18:00, when it will be closed permanently, without the possibility of submitting a new application or modifying an already submitted application for the year 2024.
The Child Benefit is granted to a wide range of people who meet the conditions, regardless of nationality, as long as they reside permanently in Greece. In particular, beneficiaries may be:
- Greek citizens
- Homogeneous foreigners with an expatriate card
- Citizens of member states of the European Union
- Citizens of countries of the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) and Swiss citizens
- Refugees recognized under the 1951 Convention, as amended by the 1967 Protocol
- Stateless persons, whose status is determined by the 1954 Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons
- Beneficiaries of humanitarian status
- Citizens of other states who meet the criteria of permanent residence and other conditions
