Homicide officers have now put these three cases under the microscope.
New complaints about other children who were in danger of dying in the presence of Irini Murtzoukou in previous years and were saved by a miracle are coming to light, causing a chill.
Parents and close relatives of two more babies and a three-year-old child, complain that their little angels found themselves struggling because of the now 24-year-old woman. There are three more cases that come under the microscope of Homicide officers. Two infants and a child who stayed – as their own people complain – with Irini Mourtzoukou on the disputed days and were transferred to hospitals between life and death.
In 2016, a 6-month-old baby collapsed in the house where he lived and was taken to a hospital. Doctors, as his stepfather said speaking on Live News, managed to bring it back. Irini Mourtzoukou was present at the dramatic events. “There are five children. It’s not one, not two, but five or six. It is not possible that only Murdzuku was in front in six,” said the infant’s stepfather. That day the baby’s mother had gone out to spread clothes, when she suddenly heard the voice of Irini Murtzoukou. “I had fed the little one and put her in the pram to sleep. I don’t have time to lay out two of the baby’s clothes and I hear Irene saying ‘the child is not well,'” says the mother of the infant.
The little girl had – as her mother remembers – bruised lips and very quickly lost consciousness. “I take her to the room and I see her lips are black and she has lost consciousness. I call an ambulance straight away and we take her to Karamandanio. The doctors were on top of the child,” he recalls. The baby was taken to the hospital and was lucky, as he went to the other world and came back, according to his mother. What the doctors actually told her that day, about the causes of the near-tragedy, never left her mind: “The doctors’ conclusion was syncope. I say to them “how did it come about?”. And they tell me “either someone was on top of her and scared her or something was put on her and she couldn’t breathe”. Because the child had no bruises on his face, but his lips were bruised.”
“He hit the child and left for Athens”
The seventh case examined by Homicide occurred in 2019 and concerns a 3-year-old child who was severely beaten. His mother, who spoke on the show “Light in the Tunnel”, considers Irini Murtzoukou responsible. “My cousin walked up to the booth and she hears a child crying,” she said. Her daughter, as she says, was in a miserable condition from the beatings she had received. “They come up and find my daughter bruised from crying,” the woman remembers.
Her minor niece, who was in front of the stage, tried to describe what she saw and which almost proved fatal for the little girl. “I asked my cousin’s little girl what happened and she says “Irini da da little one” and showed me that Irini took the child and threw it on the floor.” The case did not develop, both because the child was saved, and because Irini Mourtzoukou left for Athens in the following days. As the child’s mother says, “He called someone and booked her a ticket to Athens. He bragged that he had thrown down a child”.
“We found Irene hitting the baby”
The complaint about the eighth case is also chilling. It is about a baby of only 3 months, who was left alone with Irini, when the mother of the 3-year-old and her cousin and mother of the baby who were looking after him, went out to go to the booth. “We tell her to go to the cigarette stand for a minute and as soon as we got down, my cousin realized that she had forgotten her mobile phone. I tell her “good, come back, I’m leaving” says the mother of the 3-year-old. When the woman returned, as her cousin complains, she saw Irini on top of the baby. and he says baby what are you doing to my child?” and says to her “she was choking and I massaged her”. Now you don’t massage a child who is drowning, you turn him over and hit him on the side” says the complainant.
The child was miraculously saved. Irini Murtzoukou insisted that she tried to help it. However, before staying with her that day, the child did not have the slightest thing. According to the complainant, after the last two incidents, Irini disappeared.” The eight cases are carefully analyzed. The passage of time brings – it seems – new dark secrets to the surface, with Irini Mourtzoukou always in the foreground. The allegations against her are thought-provoking, fear-mongering and make it all the more imperative for a full investigation of the facts.
