Tour operators and shipping companies participated in an EOT event in Ancona
With the aim of highlighting the diversity and authentic character of Greece, the EOT Foreign Italian Service participated on April 10th at Travel Open Day, which took place in Ancona, in the context of a highly successful and well -organized event with the participation of Italian Tour Operators and Maritime Companies.
Ancona is a strategic city for Greek tourism, as ship departures are made daily to various Greek destinations, enhancing the interconnection and tourist flow between Greece and Italy. The presentation of the Head of the EOT Foreign Italian Service, Kyriaki Boulaidou, attracted the interest of a number of tourism offices and professionals in the tourism industry, confirming the constant and dynamically increasing interest in the Italian market for Greece.
Particular emphasis was placed on the promotion of less well -known Greek destinations, with the aim of highlighting the diversity and authentic nature of our country, even to professionals who have been active in Greek tourism for many years. During the event, many B2B meetings were held with representatives of tourist agencies in the city of Ancona and the surrounding areas, and there were substantial discussions with professionals in the area to strengthen existing partnerships, as well as to investigate new opportunities for promoting and promoting Greek destinations.
