What the powerful man of the Union had said in the past about “Nestor”
The AEK family is in mourning for the loss of the legendary Kostas Nestoridis, who breathed his last at the age of 93.
The administrative leader of the Union, Mr Dimitris Melissanidishe had “Nestor” in a special place in his heart, since he has mentioned that he was one of the reasons he loved the Union.
In his personal statement, Dimitris Melissanidis referred to Kostas Nestoridis, characterizing him as the best player in the history of AEK.
The Melissanidis statement:
“Today we mourn an incomparable loss for our Family, the AEK Family. Kostas Nestoridis, a refugee of Pontic origin himself, has been a symbol for the largest refugee association in the country.
The greatest player in the history of AEK, marked an entire era for Greek Football and our team. She endured despite the difficulties of recent years and was able to experience the greatness of our group’s return to her Home. AEK will never forget him.
