Two female clinic directors are on the bench
At the bench of the Three-member Criminal Court Thessaloniki two female clinic managers have been charged with manslaughter in the trial that began today for the death of a three-year-old girl at Hippocrates Hospital in 2022.
OR three year old she had been hospitalized there, due to the deterioration of her health condition, while previously she had been hospitalized for 10 days at the Papageorgiou hospital, where the parents complain that the child was not treated properly, as she was admitted to the hospital with swelling in her ankles. His health deteriorated rapidly, and as the parents complain, the doctors never told them what he was dying of, reported the ERT.
“We still don’t know what caused our child’s death. A doctor told me, now he is fighting alone”, as the mother told the court, while as the father testified, “our child was missing for 9 days”.
The trial was adjourned until December 11.
