“I want to do things that I haven’t done,” explained the leading actor
Denzel Washington heads from Rome to Wakanda: The Oscar-winning actor has revealed that he is set to star in ‘Black Panther 3’.
THE Washington announced the news during an appearance on the ‘Today Show Australia’. “I’m only interested in working with the best – I don’t know how many more films I’ll make, probably not many. I want to do things I haven’t done,” he explained.
The 79-year-old actor then addressed some of his upcoming projects, which include a “role in the next ‘Black Panther’ movie.”
Marvel has yet to officially announce a third “Black Panther” movie after the release of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in 2022.
However, Marvel chief Kevin Feige previously confirmed that he had “discussions” with writer-director Ryan Coogler about a possible sequel, APE reported.
Denzel Washington had a close personal relationship with the film’s original star, the late Chadwick Boseman.
Washington helped Boseman attend an acting program at England’s Oxford University. The late actor later starred in the film Black Bottom, which Washington produced.
