“Iliana Papageorgiou is my only good friend from television,” said the photographer
Among other things, Dimitris Skoulos spoke about My Style Rocks, Sofia Hatzipanteli, the bullying he experienced as a child, and the four people he has on his “black list” in an interview on the show “Pame Danae”.
“I will not be on the next round of My Style Rocks. Before the holidays I announced to the station my desire to rest a little. It is a difficult and time-consuming project, it is not easy to enter a studio on Friday morning and leave on Monday morning. I felt that I started to get very tired physically and mentally. On the weekends that are for my children, I saw them going for walks and playing in the playgrounds from photos,” said Dimitris Skoulos initially.
Dimitris Skoulos then said: “I would only give a positive sign to this particular collaboration. I also made a very good friend, Stelios Koudounaris. My collaboration with Sofia Hatzipanteli was not easy. She is a very intense girl but always has good intentions. When the shooting was over, she went to a hotel and was alone. This was stressing her out. She’s a good girl. Contradictions always exist and it’s very nice to have them.”
He also mentioned that “this particular jury did not have the chemistry that it had with Iliana. Iliana Papageorgiou is my only good friend from TV. Evelyn will be very good and Lakis I think is the ideal choice for this committee. 8 out of 10 questions I get asked when I’m stopped on the street are “do I model?”. The other two are ‘how am I dressed?'”
Regarding the bullying he had experienced, Dimitris Skoulos said: “I have been bullied many times, I was beaten on the school stairs because I was dark, very short and thin. Children’s world is cruel and this worries me. My wife and I are trying to make two people who will make the world a little better than we made it.”
In closing, he said: “I happened to photograph a well-known singer who cursed everyone around him. I told him “I’ll get up and leave if you keep it up” and he hung up. Greek celebrities are difficult. I have been asked many times to do extreme retouching but I refuse. There are four people that I will not photograph, they are on the black list.”
