What are the necessary supporting documents?
Deputies will have discounts on ferry and plane tickets teachers Primary and Secondary Education, during the holidays (Christmas, New Year and Epiphany) in order to move to their place of residence and vice versa.
In particular, with a joint initiative of the Ministries of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and Maritime and Island Policy, discounts of up to 50% are announced on ferry tickets of substitute teachers. Specifically:
Fast Ferries provides a 30% discount for passengers and 20% for vehicles (from 22/12/2023 to 7/1/2024),
Dodekanissos Sea Ways 50% discount for passengers (from 22/12/2023 to 7/1/2024)
Levante Ferries 50% discount for passengers and 50% for vehicles (from 22/12/2023 to 7/1/2024)
Attica Ferries 50% discount for passengers and 50% for vehicles (from 22/12/2023 to 10/1/2024),
Golden Star Ferries 30% discount for passengers and 20% for vehicles (from 22/12/2023 to 7/1/2024)
Triton Ferries 50% off passengers and 50% off vehicles (from 22/12/2023 to 7/1/2024)
Zante Ferries 50% discount for passengers and 50% for vehicles (from 20/12/2023 to 9/1/2024)
Saronic Ferries 30% discount for passengers (throughout the academic year)
Necessary supporting documents for the provision of the discount will be the relevant decision of the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports, which mentions their recruitment, as well as their Police ID.
It is worth noting that the SkyExpress airline discount of 30% for the issuance of ten (10) airline tickets per interested party is still valid.
