Unstoppable seismic activity in the Cyclades
A double seismic vibration of 4.2 on the Richter scale, with a one -minute difference, occurred at 1 after midnight between Santorini and Amorgos.
The first earthquake 4.2 on the Richter scale occurred at 01:02, 228 km southeast of Athens. According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the focus of the vibration was found in the maritime area of 23 km southwest of Psinini Amorgos, referred to the RES EIA.
A minute later at 1:03, according to the Geodynamic Institute, there was a second vibration of 4.2 on the Richter scale with the same focus. The earthquake occurred at a distance of 229 km southeast of Athens.
