Three arrests in the southern suburbs

To deconstruct the criminal organization, a Drug Enforcement Directorate was carried out on Friday, March 21, 2025, an organized police operation, in which they were found in areas of Glyfada and Vari, and three members of the organization were arrested. including the leader.
According to the Organized Crime Management Directorate, the organization had a clear structure and distinct roles. The leader was responsible for contacting suppliers, drug receipt, money management and cocaine storage.
A second member had taken over the distribution and concealment of drugs within specially modified packaging – Among other paper juice packages and glass bottles of oil or vinegar.
The third member provided storage space, the so -called “kavatza”.
11 species of drugs
Investigations revealed a huge variety of drugs, with the organization distributing a total of 11 species and forms.
Between them:
- Cocaine and pink cocaine ‘tusi’
- Raw and processed hemp (chocolate)
- Ketamine, Codeine and LSD in liquid form
- Crystalline methamphetamine (MDMA)
- Hashish oil, hemp oil and hallucinogenic mushrooms
During the surveys in Glyfada and Vari, they found and seized:
- 1 kg and 398.4 grams of cocaine
- 32 grams of pink cocaine
- 9 kg and 879 grams of raw cannabis (Skunk)
- 7 kg and 121.2 grams of processed hemp (chocolate)
- 2 kg and 820 grams of codeine
- 855 grams of hemp oil
- 120 grams
- 70.8 grams of crystalline methamphetamine (MDMA)
- 60 grams LSD
- 10 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms
- 24 grams of ketamine
In addition, 2 vehicles were seized, 45,800 euros in cash, 3 mobile phones, 7 precision electronic scales and 2 air discharge devices.
By the analysis of the case, It is estimated that the financial benefit of the criminal organization exceeds 200,000 euros.
The three detainees were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office. Investigations are continuing to identify potential associates and suppliers.
