Fines totaling 100,750 euros, arrest of one person and destroying 8,211 pieces of imitation products led to its controls TIME In illegal warehouses in downtown Athens.
According to RES-EIA, executives of the Market Control Unit (DIMA) of the Ministry of Development yesterday carried out audits in illegal warehouses in downtown Athens, following the utilization of information resulting from inspections carried out by the service in the past.
8,211 pieces of imitation products (mobile accessories) were identified which were seized and destroyed in accordance with article 18 of Law 4712/20, while fines totaling EUR 100,750 were imposed.
In addition, an alien was arrested on the charges of forgery of trademarks and fraud, who was referred to justice by the autopsy procedure.
As they note from TIMEA, checks are continued throughout the territory.
