An area with low vegetation is burning in the area of Agios Kyprianos
Powerful ground and aerial firefighting forces are operating in the area of Agios Kyprianos of the Municipality of Eastern Mani in Laconia, in order to bring under control the fire that is burning low vegetation.
In particular, 42 firefighters with two groups of pedestrian units of the 9th EMODE and 14 vehicles are operating at the scene, while five firefighting planes are continuously spraying water. At the same time, the work of the fire brigades is assisted by self-administration water vehicles.
According to the Fire Department, the front of the fire is not located near a residential area.
