Those who want to change their insurance category should submit an application by January 31
A new increase of 2.7% comes from the beginning of 2025 based on inflation in insurance contributions for the self-employed, the self-employed and farmers.
The new monthly contributions of the main insurance are structured as follows:
For the main insurance sector, together with the 10 euros of the unemployment contribution:
1st class: €254.65 (from €248.22)
2nd category: €303.58 (from €295.87)
3rd category: €362.11 (from €352.59)
4th category: €433.17 (from €421.78)
5th category: €517.05 (from €503.46)
6th category: €669.67 (from €652.06)
For young freelancers, who have not completed 5 years since the first start of their activity, they will pay 156.41 euros from the 152.93 euros.
For farmers:
1st class: €145.63

There will be similar increases in insurance contributions for supplementary insurance, as well as for self-employed and self-employed lump sums.
