The actor considers the filing of the same-sex marriage bill correct
Giorgos Karamichos seemed very caustic about those who react to same-sex marriage couples. The actor was a guest on the set of the show “Fay’s Time”.
“The issue with the bill should have ended. The “father of the house”, the prime minister, should have made the decision… He made it, but there is so much fuss, everyone comes out to talk, even us who speak… When the dialogue goes to mouths that don’t know how to speak, they don’t know to listen, they just have to say something based on his own fear…”, initially said o George Karamichos and continued as follows:
“It’s a shame to hear a female member of parliament say in 2024 that the nuclear family is at risk with some children being adopted by people who will love them.
It is the same argument used by some male MPs up until the 1950s to ban women from voting, voting and being elected. And she, who has been elected, uses the same argument that others used 70 years ago, so that she cannot be elected.”
