Host’s response to TV producer’s response about his company’s finances
Giorgos Liagas gave his own answer to Nikos Koklonis, after the relevant video posted by the television producer on social media about his company’s finances, on Thursday’s “Breakfast”.
The presenter of ANT1 referred to the report that Aphrodite Grammeli gave him on the show in the previous days, regarding the future of BarkingWell, clarifying his position. “Venus gave a report on the last day of the year. Her opinion, with which I often disagree, is one thing, and the reporting, in which she falls in 99% of the time, is another. This is not disputed. Nikos reacted in one way… I know Nikos, we have spoken, he has made me an offer of cooperation and I have not accepted it”, said Giorgos Liagas initially.
“I have a very good opinion of him on a personal level and as many times as I have criticized him, it was for some wrong choices. But he caught my eye a little, with the answer he gave to our show about the Aphrodite report,” the presenter emphasized and continued: “He made a video where he showed us his genitals. OK, respect, he may think it’s right. But the issue is not that only our own shows love us, but also those across the street. I neither love nor hate him. I appreciate him.”
Giorgos Liagas insisted, saying that “Nikos showed us his genitals. Because I was present, I want to say, that I saw with my own eyes the messages he exchanged that day with Aphrodite. He broke the news to Aphrodite himself, this BarkingWell building change was not a figment of our imagination. She did not say it from Aphrodite’s mind, nor did she wake up and say to harm Koklonis. I saw it with my own eyes, you wrote to her that there are some issues and there is a possibility that we can change offices”.
“Now you go out there and show us your genitalia and tell us that BarkingWell is growing. Trust me… Am I your rival? I have a rival production company and I don’t want BarkingWell to do well? I would be an idiot or have some personal empathy! I, believe me, will be devastated if BarkingWell closes. I wish that a financier will be found and that your company will really flourish”, asserted Giorgos Liagas.
“What I said is that you owe money, this is known and that the celebrities you owe them will not take legal action. That’s in your favor. At some point, however, we will have to look at ourselves in the mirror and see what we did wrong and it reached where a large – as you say – company reached. You used to make people curse me when I said that J2US was costing more than the channel was making. So who was right? Me or all those who licked you? The first ones who will sell you are your lickers!”, Giorgos Liagas concluded in his comment.
