On the occasion of her World Tourism Daywhich is celebrated every year on September 27, Fraport Greece organized together with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Thessaloniki Hoteliers Association, a big event at Thessaloniki Airport “Macedonia” to promote and promote the “Greek Breakfast” experience.
The “Greek Breakfast” is an innovative program of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotelswith a central axis the connection of the long culinary tradition of our country, with the experience of the hotel visitor.

From his side, Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos, President of the Hotel Chamber of Greece pointed out: “We wholeheartedly support this effort which brings Greek products “to the table” of every traveler. The innovative “Greek Breakfast” program started in 2010 by the Hotel Chamber of Greece and since then has charted a very successful course appreciation, through its continuous enrichment and its ever-increasing participation. In the past belong the decades where the success of tourism mit was rubbed into heads or turnovers. The success and dynamics of the tourism product mit is now reflected in the diffusion it has in the local society as well as in multiplier benefits it brings to industries outside of tourism, inextricably highlighting culture, history, gastronomy but also areas such as innovation, industry and everything else that makes up the social fabric of the place. In particular, the “Greek Breakfast” Program is based on one very big effort to highlight the quality primary sector of the country in various regions, with 43 local accords signed between producers and hoteliers, with more than 1,400 hotels they own certified with the only certified product that effectively connects him primary with the hotel and tourism industry.
