A young couple with two young children experienced the terror inside their own home in the redevelopment area of Messara, Heraklion, Crete, when, returning to their home, they were confronted by three hooded burglars who had broken in through the balcony door!
As reported by “Dia-SOS-te Mesara”, the couple had gone with their two young daughters to visit the man’s parents in Moires and returned around 11:00 in the evening to Mesara, without being able to imagine what he was waiting for them inside their single-family house. Fortunately for the family, the unknown assailants fled without threatening the family members, getting into the vehicle they had driven in, to drive away at high speed.
As the shocked young couple found out at the sight of the masked intruders and their upset house, with the broken windows of the balcony door and with all the places searched by the attackers, the escapees left with some jewelry they found in the single-family house.
