Increases in asking selling prices up to 76% and asking rental prices up to 62% in Kalithea and Vrilissia respectively, the period from 2019 to the end of 2023 is recorded in housing purchaserates that are twice or even three times the average and demonstrate the reality in some areas of Attica, where demand has far exceeded supply.
Similar increases, much higher than the average, are observed in dozens of other regions of Attica.
Starting from the city center, the biggest increases in sales prices are recorded in Ilisia (60%), Gyzi-Pedion of Areos (56%), Neo Kosmos (56%), Goudi (52%) and Pagrati (52%).
Regarding rental prices, the biggest increase has been noted by Ano Patisia (36%), Exarchia (32%), the area around Patisia and Acharnon Street (30%) and the area of Ag. Eleftheriou-Rizoupolis-Prombona with 26%.
In the northern suburbs, the biggest increases are found in sales prices, with the rise in Vrilissia reaching 68%, while followed by Agia Paraskevi with 67%, Papagos with 65%, Cholargos with 64% and N. Psychiko with 51%.
In the rental market, the largest increase is recorded again in Vrilissia with 62%, followed by Stamata with 61%, Nea Penteli with 47%, Ekali with 43% and Lykovrysi also with 43%.
In the south, Kallithea stands out with a 76% increase in sales prices, followed in order by Agios Dimitrios with 67%, Dafni with 66%, Zografou with 65% and Argyroupoli with 60%. In terms of rental prices, the biggest increases are found in Ymitto (44%), Vouliagmeni (43%), Vari-Varkiza (36%), Dafni (36%) and Argyroupoli (27%).
