The total value of imports in December 2024 amounted to EUR 7,126.2 million versus EUR 7,140.1 million in the same month of 2023, down 0.2% (no petroleum growth increased by EUR 19.7 million. or 0.4%, while without petroleum and ships there was an increase of EUR 54.9 million or 1%).
The total value of exports amounted to EUR 4,031.5 million compared to EUR 3,739.1 million in December 2023, up 7.8% (without petroleums there was an increase of EUR 418.4 million or 16.2% , while without petroleum and ships, there was an increase of EUR 413.7 million or 16%).
The trade deficit was EUR 3,094.7 million compared to EUR 3,401.0 million in December 2023, down 9% (no petroleum decrease by EUR 398.7 million or 13.9%, while without the petroleum. Petroleums and ships decreased by EUR 358.8 million or 12.8%).
Throughout 2024, the total value of imports amounted to EUR 84,517.1 million versus EUR 83,088.3 million in 2023, increasing 1.7% (without petroleums increased by EUR 2,240.7 million or 3 , 6%, while without petroleum and ships increased by EUR 2,232.4 million or 3.6%).
The total value of exports amounted to EUR 49,902.2 million versus EUR 51,017.4 million in 2023, down 2.2% (no petroleum increased by EUR 819.8 million or 2.3%, an increase of EUR 819.8 million or 2.3%, While without petroleum and ships there was an increase of EUR 839.0 million or 2.4%).
The trade deficit was EUR 34,614.9 million compared to EUR 32,070.9 million in 2023, showing an increase of 7.9% (no petroleum growth increased by EUR 1,420.9 million or 5.4%, while without Petroleums and ships have increased by EUR 1,393.4 million or 5.3%).
