“It doesn’t go any further… Nothing gets done with any number of announcements,” the announcement emphasizes
The INKA General Consumer Federation of Greece is organizing a rally against punctuality on Wednesday, January 17 at 11am, in Kaningos Square.
As INKA states in its statement, it calls on consumers to gather “virtually everywhere in the market” and adds that “the aim is to send a big message against those who profit and profit at the expense of citizen consumers”.
The announcement states:
“This state of accuracy is no longer acceptable, the taunting of certain food, fuel, energy, electricity companies is no longer acceptable. No matter how many announcements are made, nothing is done. That is why the Board of Directors of the INKA General Federation of Consumers of Greece has decided, in protest against the punctuality, to call the citizen consumers to a rally on January 17, 2024, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., in Kaningos Square (Ministry of Commerce). We demand clean prices, clean quality products and no reductions in product packaging. We require control at all levels. We ask that the independent authorities such as EETT, Competition Commission, RAEA, Ombudsman, Consumer Ombudsman, ESR function properly”.
