At 6.5m euros in revenue from criminal activity
The Organized Crime Management Directorate under its coordination Europolparticipated together with the French authorities (French Gendarmerie/Oclaesp), the Spanish Authorities (Guardia Civil) and the Italian authorities Shield vto tackle the trafficking of counterfeit drugs and substances doping.
The action was implemented in space From April to November 2024with the participation of law enforcement authorities from 31 countries on three continentsthe assistance of the European Fraud (OLAF), the European Union’s intellectual property office, Interpol, Eurojust, Frontex, the World Customs Organization (WCO), the World Anti -Doping Organization (WADA), as well as private agencies .
As part of the operational action, the Organized Crime Management Directorate handled nine affairs. After many months and thorough investigations, the subject of which were nine criminal networks with national and supranational action, were arrested by 30 people, while an additional 36 defendants were included in the criminal files formed.

During the investigations carried out, inter alia, they were seized:
- More than 495,000 pieces of illegal pharmaceutical, medical and other illegal preparations;
- 104 kg of raw material,
- Golden and gold pounds,
- 773.6 grams of hemp,
- 8 pistols/handguns and numerous cartridges.
Total revenue from the criminal activity of those involved exceeded the 6.500.000 euros.
