The purchase price and existing debt
It seems that Ivan Savvidis and Dimitris Mari are nearing an agreement for the transfer of the TV station Open.
The price for the transfer was set at around 38 million. euro. The two businessmen had previously worked together for a year in publishing the Ethnos newspaper, according to the zappit.
However, there is a debt that reaches 20 million euros, which is perhaps the biggest “thorn” for the prospective buyer.
Dimitris Maris is the founder and owner of the digital media group 24Media, (News247, Sport24 etc.).
Ivan Savvidis has been in the process of looking for a buyer for the OPEN television station for several months.
