The journalist for the sudden termination of his cooperation with the OPEN television station
Dimitris Kambourakis ended his cooperation with OPEN on Friday afternoon, who, after the relevant announcement issued by the television station, made a statement, explaining himself the reasons why he made this decision.
“A sudden adventure of my health, not dramatic but painful, creates new facts in my daily life. Following this, we jointly agreed with the management of OREN that it will no longer be possible for me to cope with the obligations of a four-hour daily news broadcast, which starts very early and creates serious physical and mental strain.
I leave the station expressing my sincere thanks to Mr. Ivan Savvidis, to the Director of Information Mr. Christos Panagiotopoulos, to the co-presenter and excellent friend Panagiotis Stathis, with whom we had a perfect collaboration, as well as to all the contributors-workers of the successful show “Hour of Greece” .
I guess it’s time to finally decide that my day-to-day TV career is over and now there’s retirement. Thank you” says the journalist in his statement.
