The interest of the international media is attracted by Karpathosas one of the world’s most up-and-coming destinations for 2025. CEO Today, which targets 250,000 company executives, published a survey of the world’s top ten destinations that offer the joy of exploration and true escape, placing Karpathos in second place.
According to CEO Today Magazine, “with its stunning beaches and spectacular mountain scenery that exudes raw beauty, Karpathos has managed to escape the “claws” of mass tourism, maintaining its charm as an untouched paradise. Festivals with traditional music and amazing gastronomy stand out.” It was preceded by planned contacts of the municipality with journalists and editors who regularly write articles in major international media such as The Sun, Guardian and the said medium and who showed a strong interest both in the range of alternative activities on the island and in the recent gastronomy festival organized by municipality.
On the same wavelength, the Polish travel website travel2.pl broadcasts, which through 3 tributes invites lovers of Greece “to visit the picturesque villages of Karpathos and the mythical Olympus, to taste macaroons and to learn about the traditions of the authentic destination of the Dodecanese”.
At the same time, Scandinavia’s largest online travel magazine Freedom Travel recommends Karpathos through videos and a series of articles, which “travel” the public to exotic beaches, nature activities, sea excursions, tours of picturesque settlements and culinary delights.
It is noted that the Municipality of Karpathos organized press missions from Poland and Sweden in September, with the aim of promoting the new season in time. “Our goal is the development of strategic partnerships and the promotion of different aspects of the destination that allow visitors before and after the high season”, emphasized the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of the Municipality of Karpathos, Tasos Milios.
