“I have a friend, a known gay man, with two kids right now, married to his partner, who doesn’t want his kids to come out as gay”
On the occasion of the interview of Thanos Tsanis in “Super Katerina” the Katerina Kainourgiou expressed her personal opinion on the question “would she have a problem with her child becoming gay?”.
In fact, on Wednesday morning, the presenter explained the reasons why she would not easily give this answer.
More specifically, Katerina Kainourgiou stated that “even though I am not a mother yet, I know that if I have a child – which I want very much, may God bless and vindicate meit may never happen, but after all – I would like it to be good. But if I were asked directly “would you have a problem with your child being gay?”, televisedly I would like to think about it a bit first. Because I don’t know if my child in a society of 2024 and later would be happy with the environment facing some situations».
“I am in favor of marriage and in favor of procreationI say it again, but it is a difficult question to ask a father and a mother of children “if your child comes out as gay, will you be OK?”. The father and mother may not have any problem, but when you ask this question like that, no one will answer you very comfortably.”
“I, who am not a mother, if you ask me now, yes I have no problem and I want the child to be well. But he wants to talk.
