“We are under pressure, so much is happening, but if they don’t make us better people but monsters then the road is not good”
Katerina Lechou was invited to the late night show of ANT1, “The 2night Show” with Grigoris Arnautoglouwhere she talked about her career and her personal life and more.
On a professional level, the beloved actress claimed that she has “resistance to things. I don’t do something if I don’t want to. I try to be myself”, she said and emphasized that during her career she always followed her instinct without discounting.
On a personal level, now, there are… rules she follows in order to maintain her appearance. He mentioned that he sleeps for 8 hours, follows a good diet and works out to stay in shape. She also noted that the secret of her long-term relationship with her husband – with whom she has been together for 16 years – is that both never stopped taking care of her.
Among other things, she talked about her belief that there is both positive and negative energy that can affect people. “I believe in the evil eye, it’s energy. Something could go wrong from an evil eye. Energies are all around us, it matters how strong we are to fortify ourselves”he pointed out.
He also spoke about the phenomena of violence that increasingly shock Greek society. “After incarceration there is violence. As if a kettle was simmering and the lid suddenly came off. You see one of the deepest savagery, they kill you for a parking space”he initially said about this and continued: “The truth is that we are under pressure, so many things are happening, but if all these do not make us more human but make us monsters then the road is not good”.
“I left my parental home at the age of 35”
At another point in the interview, she also talked about the difficulties she faced because she left her parental home at an old age, at 35 years old.
“This came at a great cost because I was too late to grow up and become a man. But ok I paid that price. I wish I had come of age on time and not so late. I left home at the age of 35. It’s too late, it’s not right, it’s not healthy”Katerina Lechou revealed to Grigoris Arnautoglou.
“To not make these compromises and be able to say no. I should leave earlier and have the courage to secure this money in another way. I wouldn’t do things I didn’t like, so I would do another job. But this solution was convenient for me, it was easier with its difficulties though because you lack things. When I left my parents, I was at home with the boxes for a year,” he said.
