“They are known for their idyllic beaches with crystal clear waters”
The first list for the next season of 2025 was announced by Far Away Travel Blog following on-site international research carried out by the editorial team on different continents with the aim of “discovering” the ten best destinations that fit the new travel trends.
“Based on identifying locations that have made hundreds of friends on social media wonder if these places really exist, the list includes destinations away from the mass crowds and hyper-tourism. The choice is experiential without the help of artificial intelligence,” explains the manager of the popular blog. The second place in the list is occupied by Miss you which “they are known for their idyllic beaches with crystal clear waters. Impressive is the church of Panagia tou Haros, which dates back to the 7th century and “hosts” a unique in the world icon of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus crucified. Monodendri is the absolute highlight of the island with the rocky landscape, the amazing view and the characteristic tree “defying” all the adversities of the sea”.
At the top of the list is Fulhachto Island in the Maldives which has dense tropical vegetation without luxury hotels, while the top three is completed by the Netherlands’ Dark Sky National Park, which combines impressive nature with a unique nighttime experience without light pollution.
The blogger’s photos are often admired by many international media and she has collaborated with tourism organizations around the world.
The distinction arose after a press visit in the summer at the initiative of the Municipality of Leipsic, which in recent years has focused on inviting award-winning bloggers from abroad who specialize in sustainability, nature worship and activities. At the same time, the video shot on the island of Calypso after actions by the municipality with music and rhythm that “marry” rap with traditional island idioms exceeded 300,000 views. “The people of Lipsi have a quality that every year becomes even more noticeable through the sustainable initiatives of the local community and the municipality aimed at water sufficiency and the protection of the seas and coasts. The response of the traveling public continues to be on the rise for another year despite the challenges of this season. In fact, August ended with an impressive 33% increase in arrivals“, noted the mayor of Lipsi, Fotis Mangos.
