From April 14 to April 26, 1865, as the American writer reports, Stanton “led Union cavalry troops on a wild, 12-day chase through the streets of Washington, the swamps of Maryland, and the woods of Virginia, while the nation, still reeling from the civil war that had just ended, watched in horror and sorrow.”
The series will premiere on Apple TV+ with two episodes on March 15.
