The streets around Syntagma Square were closed
All-education rally against the non-state universities held by students and teachers in the center of Athens.
About 1,000 people, according to ELAS, gathered earlier in Propylaia and are currently marching towards the Parliament.
Earlier, vehicle traffic was stopped on Panepistimi Street, while the streets around Syntagma Square are also gradually being closed, as the march heads to the Parliament.
With a banner that reads “No to private universities, only public and free studies, degrees with value, work with rights”, the student associations of Athens are actively participating in rally.
