An eyewitness to the episode spoke to ERT’s “Connections” show:
“Yesterday at about 10:00 I was at the back of the store. I was drinking coffee with a fellow villager and we heard gunshots. Many, 4-5. At first we didn’t understand but we started to go outside. As soon as we reached the middle of the store, on the opposite sidewalk, we saw the victim running and from behind the assailant shooting, continuously shooting until at some point he tripped or some bullet hit him, he fell, got up again, but the assailant continued and fired the bullets non-stop. So, he fell into the pharmacy from outside.”
