OR Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) is ending its fact-checking program in the United States, in a major reversal of its content control policy, founder Mark Zuckerberg announced.
“We will get rid of fact-checkers and replace them with community notes, similar to those of X (formerly Twitter), starting with the United States,” Zuckerberg announced in a message on social media, according to APE BPE.
