The two women identified the landlady as the perpetrator
We had a twist in the case of the murder of Fai Bakoiorgou in October 2021 in Kypseli, as her sister who confessed last November, that she killed her and moved her body next to a garbage bin, where it was found after several days, retracted her confession and pleaded not guilty.
Faye’s sister and mother, who are in custody, asked to give additional testimony to the prosecutor. But during this, they completely reversed what they had claimed in their first apologies. Faye’s sister said that she is not her killer and pointed to the landlady, who is also in custody. The same was supported by Faye’s mother, who said she was afraid of the landlady.
What her mother claimed in her new deposition
According to the show “Truths with Zena”, Faye’s mother allegedly claimed in her supplementary statement that the landlady probably killed her, but she herself does not know how. As she reportedly said, the landlady systematically abused her daughter, forced her to beg and took her money. She allegedly also claimed that there was verbal and physical abuse to her and her other daughter, but she was more abusive to Faye, whom she had once sent to the hospital.
According to her, Faye was afraid to react, while she allegedly claimed that the landlady was giving them medicine without their knowledge and had indirectly threatened them that if she wanted she could kill someone with a little mercury. On the fateful night Faye was murdered, her mother was working at the house of the lady she was looking after. As she allegedly testified, around 03:00 the landlady called her and told her to “hurry up and go home, because something happened to Faye”.
Faye’s mother then allegedly said that the landlady, in a state of confusion, took her and her youngest daughter out of the room, gave them some bags and threw them out of the house, telling them that she would look, what would he did with Faye. They allegedly rang the bells, but when he didn’t open the door, they spent the night on a bench in America Square. The mother allegedly claimed that the landlady threatened to lock up her other daughter in the psychiatric hospital and that she did not know that Faye was pregnant. Finally, she argued that she lied in her original apology because she was afraid of the landlady.
What her sister claimed
Faye’s sister, for her part, testified that she lied in her initial statement because the landlady had threatened her that if she did not say what she said she would be locked up in a psychiatric hospital. She reportedly claimed that Faye was killed by the landlady, but she doesn’t know how, because at the time of the murder she was with a gentleman she was taking care of, but he has died and she can’t confirm it.
Like her mother, she reportedly said her landlady called her and told her to go home because something had happened to Faye. He returned home around 04:00 and found Faye lying in a black jumpsuit, no underwear and a black and white striped top. She was white, and the landlady had put a spoon in her mouth, so that her tongue would not turn.
According to what she reportedly said, she and her mother tried to call 166, but the landlady broke her mother’s cell phone and was foaming at the mouth. She told them to leave and she would arrange what to do with Faye. Finally, she accused the landlady of abusing both Faye, herself and their children, while saying that she hates her because she harmed her family.
