Mourning and anger at the funeral of 43-year-old Dora
The possibility that he was not in the boiling of soul but planned assassination authorities are investigating the case of the 43-year-old woman in Agrinio. The alleged perpetrator seems to have procured a revolver from Athens, and to have made a pre-arranged appointment with the victim on the fateful day.
The 30-year-old, who was arrested yesterday afternoon, after 20 minutes of negotiation with ELAS, is being taken to the competent prosecutor today. As he is reported to have told his relatives and the police, he was the one who shot his 43-year-old ex-partner from point-blank range in the center of Agrinio last Monday night. He was arrested yesterday (12/11) after a long negotiation with the police and his relatives, in a rural area near his father’s house, where he had taken refuge. When the police found him, he refused to surrender and threatened to kill himself.
According to information, the 30-year-old has so far not given a written statement, however, he is said to have verbally claimed to the police that he had bought the weapon from the “black” market, in Omonia, Athens, and had made an appointment with the victim. He, as he claimed, to convince her to stay with him and the 43-year-old to convince him that she should move on with her life away from him. The unfortunate woman, mother of three children, was engaged and preparing to get married, to make a new beginning.
“I was confused, I didn’t understand what happened, when he told me that we have to break up, I couldn’t contain my anger,” the 30-year-old reportedly told the police. The authorities believe that the crime was not committed in a fit of passion, as the 30-year-old claims, but premeditated, since, although the hunting weapons he had in his possession were taken away, he traveled to Athens and bought a weapon illegally.
The couple had a history of domestic violence and the arrested man was due to stand trial in three days. He was arrested again in September 2024following a lawsuit filed by the victim against him, for domestic violence, because he had threatened her with a kitchen knife at her home.
They had been imposed on the accused by the competent Prosecution Authority the restrictive conditions of not approaching the victim at a distance of less than 50 meters and the prohibition of communication with herwhile two shotguns were taken from him two months ago, by the Thermos Police Department, and the relevant firearms licenses were revoked. For the same case, the 43-year-old had stated that she did not wish to be given a panic button and to be transferred to a secure accommodation structure.
The 43-year-old Dora from Agrinio is the 12th victim of femicide in 2024, after the death of 41-year-old Garifallias who had been the victim of a savage beating by her 49-year-old partner in Patras.

He is being buried today in Dokimi AgriniWednesday November 13, the murdered Dora, two days after the brutal crime that shocked the whole of Greece. In the exodus procession to the holy church of Agios Ioannis, there is pain, mourning and anger for the 30-year-old womanizer.
The local community is united, relatives and acquaintances of the 43-year-old are in the church with the tragic figures of the parents and brothers of the unfortunate woman, as reported by the agriniopress.gr.
