Scenes of horror were experienced by a 22-year-old woman in Peristeri, who had met a 27-year-old man through social networks, with whom they had been talking since last summer.
Finally, they agreed to meet closely, however the young woman did not agree with the behavior of the 27-year-old, telling him that she wants them to stop meeting, and then he tried to choke her. “She was a 22-year-old girl who met a taxi driver, an Albanian citizen, 27 years old, online. They “made it” online and at some point they decided to go out, to meet each other normally”, described the special police analyst, Stavros Balaskas, speaking to MEGA.
“It didn’t go well there, she didn’t like it, he was abrupt. This rejection upset him a lot, he would take the taxi and go below her house. At one point the girl was walking, he approached her in the taxi, forced her inside, hit her and when she opened the door to leave, he put the chain of her bag around her neck and went to strangle her. Passers-by saw her, they went to save her, at that moment the chain broke and she escaped” continued Mr. Balaskas.
The perpetrator was arrested after a lawsuit filed by the 22-year-old woman, which was examined by a medical examiner, while there are also witnesses to the incident, whom she refers to.
