All-education rally against the non-state universities is taking place right now in the Propylaea, with students and teachers gathered in the center of Athens to protest.
At this time, approximately 1,000 people, according to ELAS, have gathered in Propylaia and are expected to march towards the Parliament.
Vehicular traffic has been stopped on Panepistimi Street, while the roads around Syntagma Square are expected to be gradually closed, as the march will be directed to the Parliament.
With a banner that reads “Not in private universities, only public and free studies, degrees with value, work with rights”the student associations of Athens are actively participating in the rally.
