Infrastructure damage caused by devastating floods has been repaired, according to local agencies
Pelion and Volos are in full readiness for the safe reception and accommodation of winter tourism visitors, as the infrastructure has been restored after the devastating floods that hit the area in the past.
This was established in an informative online meeting held by the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel & Tourism Agencies, FedHATTA and the Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies in Greece, HATTA, with the local bodies of Pelion, with the aim of providing information about the situation in which it is the process of restoring the area to the tourist map of Greece.
As the President of FedHATTA, Lysandros Tsilidis, characteristically stated “the Federation is once again coordinating its forces in cooperation with competent authorities to highlight the issues that need to be resolved, this time at the local level, in order to save the winter tourism season in Magnesia. We are sure that the State will do its best to make everything work fully in Volos and Pelion”.
