“Since 2022, this particular business has been operating under a certain name, however, on Saturday it seems that a suspicious transfer of operation to a person is being made, who is wanted and this is the reason why four days later the two managers of the store, a Greek, remain missing and a Bulgarian national, as well as the person in charge of the group that organized the two fatal parties. And we say two fatal parties, as we also had a party on Friday” said the journalist of ERTNews, Kostas Stamou.
He explained that “it appears and emerges from testimonies, as well as from the posters published by this group, that it had organized a similar party for underage students on Friday, October 25, when exactly the same thing happened. That is, students in a semi-conscious state, who were leaving the club, in order to return either to their home, or to go to a hospital, as several of them were really, really bad.”
Explaining what happens to the groups that organize the parties, the journalist said that they make an agreement and essentially rent space in the nightclubs. They go to the nightclub and say ‘I want these 15 tables on my account’. So if this informal transfer takes place with some private agreement, then the responsibility for the specific tables is illegally borne by these groups, which organize the parties. At these tables they can give alcohol freely and in fact from there they get a large percentage of their profits, as for every bottle of alcohol for which no distinction is made between adults and minors, they get a large percentage.
