As it turns out, a school party was held the previous day, October 25, with the same results
In a ruse in order to avoid responsibility for the poisoning of students by drinking alcohol in the nightclub on Vouliagmenis Avenue and to keep it operating, despite the decision of the Municipality of Athens to “lock” the business, the owners proceeded within one night of.
In particular, ERTnews brought to light a document on the specific case, that is, the revocation of the operating license of the specific club, which refers to an investigation by the Police, which speaks of a suspicious transfer of the operation of the business, which took place in essence in one night, on Saturday, October 26, that is, the same night that the fatal party took place with the underage students who were found in a state of intoxication.
So in this there seems to be a transfer of operation of the business to some other person. This is also the reason why the club managed to escape from all controls. The initial license was originally issued in 2020 and in that year two nightclubs appeared at the specific address of Vouliagmenis Avenue, where the club is located.
“Since 2022, this particular business has been operating under a certain name, however, on Saturday it seems that a suspicious transfer of operation to a person is being made, who is wanted and this is the reason why four days later the two managers of the store, a Greek, remain missing and a Bulgarian national, as well as the person in charge of the group that organized the two fatal parties. And we say two fatal parties, as we also had a party on Friday” said the journalist of ERTNews, Kostas Stamou.
He explained that “it appears and emerges from testimonies, as well as from the posters published by this group, that it had organized a similar party for underage students on Friday, October 25, when exactly the same thing happened. That is, students in a semi-conscious state, who were leaving the club, in order to return either to their home, or to go to a hospital, as several of them were really, really bad.”
Explaining what happens to the groups that organize the parties, the journalist said that they make an agreement and essentially rent space in the nightclubs. They go to the nightclub and say ‘I want these 15 tables on my account’. So if this informal transfer takes place with some private agreement, then the responsibility for the specific tables is illegally borne by these groups, which organize the parties. At these tables they can give alcohol freely and in fact from there they get a large percentage of their profits, as for every bottle of alcohol for which no distinction is made between adults and minors, they get a large percentage.
