This highly realistic robot is one of the most advanced in the world. He has bionic hands and facial features, combined with the wig, they make it look like a woman.
It was created in 2019 by a team led by Aidan Meller, gallery owner and founder of Ai-Da Robot Studio, in collaboration with Artificial Intelligence experts from the Universities of Oxford and Birmingham. The name Ai-Da is inspired by Ida Lovelace, who is considered the first computer programmer in history.
The robot, which uses artificial intelligence to create paintings or sculptures, has cameras in its eyes and bionic arms, it moves and expresses itself autonomously, without human intervention.
“Through my works about Alan Turing, I commemorate his achievements and his contribution to the development of computing and artificial intelligence” the robot Ai-Da states.
Ai-Da’s artworks have already been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, London’s Design Museum, the Giza Pyramids and the UN Headquarters. The humanoid robot has also delivered a speech in the House of Lords in 2022.
