The public prosecutor’s intervention was prompted by the report of a commuter train almost entering the Metro line in Dukissis Plakentias, on October 9.
The head of the Prosecutor’s Office of Athens, Aristides Korias, ordered an urgent investigation on the occasion of the relevant publication of the “Newspaper of the Editors”.
In the context of the investigation, which he will carry out the prosecutor Mr. Andreou, the possibility of any criminal acts having been committed and by which persons will be examined.

The driver was reportedly forced to reverse for about 300 meters to get out of the tunnel before becoming trapped.
