The well -known criminologist passed away on February 28th after a “battle” with cancer
Forty days after the death of Alexis Kougia, relatives, friends and associates gathered on Sunday, April 6 at the 1st Athens Cemetery to honor his memory.
The memorial of the criminologist was held at the Church of Saint Theodore, in the presence of persons from his family, professional and social environment. As his children, Christos and Maira, had known, as well as his close associates, the memorial service was open to those who wanted to pay tribute and pray for the rest of his soul. Shortly after 12:00 noon, his two children arrived at the ceremony, with the emotion being widespread among the attendees.
The announcement of Alexis Kougia’s children on the occasion of the memorial service for their father:
“With the forty days of the loss of our late father and head of our law firm, Alexios Kougia, a sacred memorial will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 12:15 pm, at the Church of Saint Theodore, at the first.
The ceremony will be open so that those who wish to honor his memory can pray with us for the rest of his soul.
